Ivan Csiszar, STAR scientist receives DOC Silver Award
Dr. Ivan Csiszar was awarded the DOC Silver Medal Award after being nominated as a part of a cross-Line Office team by NOAA Research. The award recognizes the operational value of Ivan’s work with predictions of wildfire smoke transport and its impact on weather to support air quality alerts and visibility forecasts.
