CCOR on GOES-U is a partnership between OPPA and GOES-R program to accommodate the Compact Coronagraph (CCOR) instrument on the GOES-U spacecraft. CCOR will be co-located on the GOES-U Sun Pointing Platform alongside the Solar Ultraviolet Imager (SUVI) and Extreme Ultraviolet and X-Ray Irradiance Sensors (EXIS) instruments. CCOR on GOES-U will observe the Sun’s corona to detect CMEs.
