NOAA’S GOES-U satellite launches with SpaceX, NASA

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket carrying NOAA’s GOES-U satellite lifts off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 25, 2024, at 5:26 p.m. EDT. The fourth and final weather-observing and environmental-monitoring satellite in NOAA’s GOES-R Series assists meteorologists in providing advanced weather forecasting and warning capabilities.
