Flood Water Emerges from Kuskokwim River in Bethel, Alaska
On May 9th, 2024, the Kuskokwim River overflowed near Bethel, Alaska, impacting many in the village. A developmental VIIRS downscaled flood depth product was able to provide estimates of the extent and severity of flooding in connection with the Alaska River Watch program.
