The NOAA Observing System Council (NOSC) website https://nosc.noaa.gov will be retired on June 30, 2025.
Description of change:
The NOAA Observing System Council (NOSC) decided that the information that they were providing was better housed internally on an internal Google Site. Most of the information on the NOSC website was behind authentication, so this has little impact on availability for the intended audience. The public-facing material on this site has now been made available to the public via the NOAA Institutional Repository.
For NOAA staff, the password-protected materials from the NOSC website are available on the NOSC Internal Google Site.
The public-facing documents, which were previously available on the NOSC website, such as the EDMC’s Procedural Directives, are now available on the NOAA Institutional Repository website.
The planned retirement date is June 30, 2025.
