Details/Specifics: NOAA will end delivery of all remaining science products from the Suomi National Polar-Orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) satellite at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST) on November 1, 2026
- ATMS - data will no longer be available after November 1, 2026 at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- CERES - data will no longer be available after November 1, 2026, at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- OMPS - Nadir - data will no longer be available after November 1, 2026, at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- OMPS - Limb- data will no longer be available after November 1, 2026, at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- VIIRS - data will no longer be available after November 1, 2026, at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- HRD - Direct Broadcast will be disabled after November 1, 2026, at 13:00 UTC (8:00 AM EST)
- CrIS - End of Operational Use occurred on December 23, 2025
Further updates regarding S-NPP will be provided as the November 1, 2026 date approaches.
All users should transition to using NOAA-21 (Primary) and NOAA-20 (Secondary) science products, which are accessible via NOAA Product Distribution and Access (PDA). NOAA-21 and NOAA-20 provide complementary science data via similar instruments.
